Our client, Southcoast Health, is adding both Senior HR Business Partners and HR Business Partners to their growing healthcare family. Positions are based in New Bedford, MA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Sr. HR Business Partners (Sr. HRBP) lead the delivery of all HR services to internal client groups. Sr. HRBPs partner closely with leadership and provide strategic and operational human resources advice, coaching, development and support to their assigned client groups. The Sr. HRBPs serve as trusted advisors on all HR issues and as partners to the organization in hiring, developing and retaining the best talent in the industry.

  • Advise senior leaders to ensure that their talent strategy, goals and priorities are driven by organization needs and aligned with Southcoast’s HR agenda.
  • Gain a full understanding of the client’s objectives and talent implications.
  • Support leadership with organizational change and development.  
  • Partner with management on all key talent decisions, providing HR advice and expertise. Leverage subject matter experts form the wider HR functions as appropriate.
  • Support client groups with navigating change, developing solutions and tailoring HR programs to support employee engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate and develop high-performing partnerships with the broader HRBP team, Recruiting, Employee Relations, OD, Training, and other internal key relationships critical for success.
  • Support and advise clients in the execution of South Coast’s annual HR roadmap, including compensation and performance management.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to ensure delivery of prioritized, effective hiring plans, attracting the most talented, skilled and diverse workforce.
  • Partner with the Employee Relations team, legal counsel, and other key stakeholders on the identification, escalation, risk mitigation and resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Support the delivery of effective and efficient Employee Shared Services through a detailed understanding of HR Operations, guiding clients on what we offer and connecting them with internal subject matter experts to assist with specific situations as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • SR. HRBP - Minimum of 8 years HR experience in a fast paced, high volume environment, preferably in an HRBP or similar role.
  • HRBP - Minimum of 5 years HR experience in HR Generalist or HRBP position.
  • BA/BS degree; plus certifications and course work in specific areas of HR expertise preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience serving in a consultative capacity to senior organization leaders, supporting organizational strategy, goals and alignment.
  • Ability to execute firm-wide talent initiatives with excellence in a fast-paced, global corporate environment; commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated expertise building consensus on a cross-functional basis.
  • Experience analyzing and presenting data and findings and reports back to the organization.
  • Proficiency with windows applications required.
