Association Management Center is seeking to add a Talent Acquisition Manager to our team! The focus of the Talent Acquisition Manager is to lead AMC’s recruitment efforts and share responsibility for a variety of HR programs and initiatives including on-boarding; performance management; training; and supporting an employee-oriented culture.

Position Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle Recruiting: Execute the recruitment and selection for all assigned exempt and non-exempt positions. Develop sourcing strategies, candidate pipelines, and job ads. Respond to solicited resumes, conduct interviews, conduct candidate pre-employment testing, check references, initiate background checks, extend offers, and work with hiring managers throughout the entire process.

  • ATS System Owner: Fully understand, utilize and oversee the maintenance of AMC’s applicant tracking system. Make recommendations on process improvements. Produce recruiting related reports as requested.

  • On-Boarding: Work with the HR Team on a variety of on-boarding tasks including new hire job descriptions, on-boarding schedules, and new hire training.

  • Performance Management: Work with the HR Team in maintaining an objective, goal-oriented performance evaluation system. Oversee the process with the HR Director to ensure timely receipt to and from managers.

  • Support an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high engagement through programs, events and communication.

  • Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action. Analyze, write, implement, maintain, communicate, and interpret policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Assist in the facilitation of timely resolution of all employee relations issues by providing coaching and counseling of managers and employees while maintaining an appropriate balance between employee and management.

  • Assist in analysis of compensation and salary data to maintain competitive plans.

  • Advise HR Director on all issues and interface with all levels of management as well as outside vendors.

  • Stay abreast of HR legal requirements and legislation by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

  • Participate in projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 4+ years full-cycle exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience. Prior experience recruiting in an association environment a plus.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with applicant tracking systems. ATS OnDemand a plus.

  • Knowledge of the principles, practices and laws of HR management.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications, such as Word and Excel.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects/priorities.

  • HR management skills: Problem solving, decision making, time management, strategic thinking, excellent interpersonal communications, and organization.
  • Professionalism: Good judgment, ability to interact with all levels of staff and vendors, appropriate demeanor and appearance, confidence.
  • Customer service attitude and skills: Team player attitude, commitment, patience, enthusiasm, creativity, listening, comprehension, initiative, cooperation, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and commitment to company values.
