DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Participate in all components of recruiting for Era Helicopters; 
  • Identify and communicate attributes of position and Company that are most attractive to individual candidates and candidate pools; 
  • Pre-screen candidates for qualifications and interest, forwarding only the most qualified applicants to the appropriate hiring managers for consideration; 
  • Ensure consistency in the selection process for positions and gather feedback from interviewers and hiring managers; 
  • Request and coordinate pre-employment requirements such as drug testing ,background checks and onboarding document collection; 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruiting processes and procedures related to meet organizational needs and ensure compliance with the Federal and State laws; 
  • Assist in the creation and updating of recruiting metrics reports including, but not limited to, time-to-fill, time-to-hire, source of hire and candidate job satisfaction;
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs, job duties, qualifications and skills; 
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with hiring managers to determine effectiveness of recruiting processes and procedures; 
  • Provide assistance and feedback to hiring managers and supervisors regarding offers and candidate status; 
  • Oversee and regularly audit the applicant tracking system to ensure consistent, timely, and accurate data entry; 
  • Generate reports to assist with OFCCP, Affirmative Action and EEO reporting requirements and compliance; 
  • Attend career fairs, college recruiting events, and other networking events that ensure the proper outreach goals are being met while building working relationships with talent recruitment sources in the industry; 
  • Assist in scheduling, coordinating and documenting DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol tests in accordance with FAA and DOT regulations; 
  • Maintain list of drug and alcohol testing and occupational health facilities for all Era base locations; and 
  • Performs other duties or projects as necessary or directed by management.   

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 5 + years of in-house Human Resources recruiting experience preferred; 
  • Proven track record of establishing successful partnerships with business leaders; 
  • Aviation background preferred; 
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, database management and record keeping; 
  • Ability to travel for recruiting events, school visits and career fairs; 
  • Must be organized and be able to effectively work independently with minimal supervision; 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities while meeting deadlines; 
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, while working with others; 
  • Ability to demonstrate effective conflict resolution and problem solving skills; and 
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of Human Resources work.
