The Talent Management Data Analyst acts as the primary conduit between the Organizational Development & Talent Strategy team and the HR Technology team, in support of synergizing data across enterprise HR units (Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Talent Management). This includes supporting the design, development and maintenance of analytical tools, visualizations, dashboards, and data solutions. This position furthers the strategy of elevating people analytics capabilities to optimize people initiatives and connecting our business users with critical HR data/


**RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS**


Education: Degree in STEM, Math, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Business or related field is a plus. Masters in Statistics or analytics preferred.


Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements:


+ Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.

+ Demonstrated experience performing financial or business analysis and communicating findings to Executive, divisional leadership and a variety of audiences to enable decision making.

+ Demonstrated experience in working across the end-to-end data life cycle from transaction ERP systems of record, through ETL/query, to data modeling, and visualization

+ Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic fragmented system enterprise architecture

+ Solid knowledge and demonstrated experience in business planning, modeling and analysis utilizing various methods, tools and techniques.

+ Demonstrated experience developing and utilizing data and analytics to derive insights on business performance or solve business problems.

+ Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade in cross functional environment.

+ Demonstrated Experience with planning and forecasting tools/systems.

+ Solid Human Resources / People Analytics operations knowledge.

+ Demonstrated experience leading projects and consulting with leadership.

+ Experience with PowerBI, DAX, M, SQL, R, SPSS and PowerPoint is strongly preferred.

+ 5+ years HR systems experience, preferably ADP Global Views


Operational Data & Metrics Development (35%)


+ Creates operational metrics related to HR projects and initiatives. Produces basic analysis and commentary to explain variances and anomalies.

+ Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses answering key business questions, covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle and ROI/efficiency. Analyses may range from ad-hoc queries / descriptive stats to statistical modeling.

+ Monitor key metrics and understand root causes of changes/trends.

+ Identifies innovative analytical approaches and continuously seeks improvements in methodology for HR data analytics and delivery.

+ Collaborates with other functions and departments to define and establish the most appropriate metrics and reporting needs for each area to effectively meet business needs and drive actionable results.

+ Provides direction and assistance in the monitoring of HR activities through analysis of divisional and corporate reports and information, ad hoc reporting and communications with management regarding measured compliance with established controls.

+ Serves as steward of HR operational metrics.


Data Governance (20%)


+ Develops processes to ensure accurate creation and cleansing of data files for data mining/analytics and reporting.

+ Validates accuracy of all HR metric data and other information that is communicated externally of HR.

+ Identifies and implements enhancements either in delivery or in the integrity or quality of the data with a focus on a delivery model that makes data and metrics more readily accessible to HR.

+ Develops and manages appropriate processes, data and systems to support metrics and reporting.


Business Analysis (20%)


+ Completes financial analysis, including cost/benefit, cost estimates and decision support analysis, to provide OD & Talent Strategy Directors with the financial-impact information they need to consult on people decisions.

+ Proactively identifies and continually incorporates innovative analytical approaches in order to further define and segment key business data and metrics. Communicates (both verbally and in writing) findings to OD & Talent Strategy team with recommendations for actions.

+ Locates, acquires, manipulates and transforms, and analyzes data from various data sources, requiring the expert use of querying, reporting and presentation tools.


Forecasting and Modeling (15%)


+ Conducts business analysis to support and drive business decisions using statistical modeling and other business analytic tools.

+ Develops models to evaluate the performance and impacts of various scenarios related to Talent Management operations and results.

+ Establishes models for people issues to facilitate planning, developing and monitoring of Talent Management initiatives.


Competitive Information and Benchmarking (5%)


+ Develops competitive information especially as it relates to Talent Management trends.
