The purpose of this job is to develop and lead organizational development activities that enhance workforce productivity, align employees around organizational values, and build a culture of shared learning throughout the organization. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of both self-directed and in-person training and educational programs, on-the-job customized training services, and systems to support employee evaluation and performance management. This position serves an important role in the development and integration of human resource programs and projects that align to the City's strategic goals and objectives. The full job posting and description can be viewed here

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, social sciences, industrial/organizational psychology, or a related field
  • At least four (4) years of experience in a responsible training or organizational development position including counseling activities within a departmentalized organization
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities
  • Certification in national talent development organization is preferred
