Vice President Human Resources and Total Rewards

This position serves as a trusted and collaborative Human Resources advisor to the network leadership team to ensure alignment with the corporate culture and business initiatives. Position leads multiple teams in various areas of Human Resources, Benefits and Compensation. 

  • Oversees the HR team and manages performance, coaching and employee development to ensure productivity, quality of work, and alignment of goals with our mission, vision, and values. Ensures compliance with all policies and financial stewardship through accountability in the development and maintenance of the department budget.
     
  • Understands the business activities, strategies, plans, and barriers to sustain performance and the needs of internal clients and employees. Drives the business performance through creation and delivery of Human Resource strategies and solutions for Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits.
      
  • Serves as a trusted partner; initiates and maintains effective communications with management and employees; provides coaching and guidance on matters related to performance management to improve employee productivity and engagement. Ensures strategy and structure for the department that is in line with the network’s ability to recruit and retain employees. Recommends necessary changes to ensure marketplace competitiveness.
     
  • Designs and runs internal projects in conjunction with human resource colleagues to drive employee engagement across the network. Supervises the execution of annual strategies regarding various formal pay and benefit program recommendations, including complete cost impact analysis.
     
  • Works closely with the Total Rewards team as well as members of the executive team to enhance mutual understanding of operational and benefits programs balanced with the organizational need to remain competitive.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Experience:

  • 7 years related Human Resources, benefits and rewards programs. 
  • 5 years management 
  • Strong background designing/building innovative compensation and benefits strategies 
  • Tactical and collaborative employee relations program development 
  • Working knowledge of all state/federal laws and regulations pertaining to Human Resources administration.  

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree along with significant management experience.
