Pleasant View Communities is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to provide hands-on leadership to all aspects of human resources functions throughout the organization while providing exceptional service to our 300+ employees. The ideal candidate will demonstrate and strengthen our core values of Dignity, Kindness, Empathy, Compassion, Joy and Stewardship. The Vice President will be responsible to ensure an engaged, values-aligned workforce and that efficient HR systems and process are implemented and utilized. The ability to function well and ensure compliance in a highly regulated environment while at the same time being an advocate for our team members is essential to the role. As part of the executive leadership team, the VP of Human Resources, will work collaboratively to bring strategic initiatives, a culture of accountability, and build compelling relationships!

Requirements

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related field, or equivalent experience; essential
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources role within a multi-faceted organization; required
  • Successful track record in human resources in a highly regulated industry, required; within healthcare/senior living, a plus
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of an executive leadership team; essential
  • Human resources certification – SPHR and/or SHRM-SCP; strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with technology; needed
  • Demonstrated community involvement; desired
